Desert Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouine - Taznakht - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
Embark on your expedition at 8:30 AM from Agadir in a 4x4 vehicle. Your scenic route takes you through Taroudant, known as 'the little Marrakesh,' with stops in Taliouine and Taznakht. You'll explore the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit the Atlas Film Studios, where famous movies were filmed. Your day ends in the charming town of Ouarzazate, where you'll stay in a riad.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
Your journey continues as you depart Ouarzazate, traveling through the stunning Toudgha gorges via Skoura. Along the way, you'll discover picturesque Kasbahs and visit the Valley of Roses, known for its rose-distilling traditions. Lunch will be at the Toudgha gorges.
In the afternoon, you'll reach the Merzouga dunes, and a camel ride will take you to the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes (250m). Enjoy a luxurious camp experience in the heart of the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga - Alnif - Tazzarine - N'kob - Agdz
Wake up early to witness a mesmerizing desert sunrise. After breakfast, your adventure continues to the Draa Valley, Morocco's longest valley. You'll pass through charming villages like Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and N'kob.
Lunch will be in N’kob. In the afternoon, you'll explore the Dra’a Valley's ancient caravan route, surrounded by palm trees and historic villages. Spend the night in Agdz.
Day 4: Agdz - Taznakht - Talouine - Agadir
On your final day, journey from Agdz to Taznakht, renowned for its Berber rugs and carpets. You'll witness breathtaking landscapes and visit the Bouazzer mines. Later, you'll head west to Taliouine, the saffron-growing heart of Morocco, where a museum showcases saffron cultivation.
